Hi! It's Beverly, aka Artsystamper.
It's time for the  20th challenge at the Artsystamper Digitals Challenge Blog
The theme is
Sentiment-All
The talented design team has created some creative inspiration projects, so be sure to check them out.
Here is what I have created...

This card is created with the Artsy Sentiments Stamp Set,
Artsy Sentiments Stamp Set with or without backgrounds. Easy image 1

and the matching Paper Pack, Artsy Jellies

You can simply print out what you need. AND you can print as many as you want!

I printed the background in Gimp, at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. I used the paper that matched the background of the sentiment. Sooo easy to create with these digitals! No wondering if they will go together, because they are created from the same paper. I love that ease. Of course, they stand on their own as well! I added the sentiment in place on the background.

I was just drawn to the Love Bird set to use with this background. The card went together easily when I used one of the color images. Of course you can also color these sweet birdies any color you like by printing the line image. I printed two birds, one on the background image and one printed separately.  I then cut the second one out and in two, and then layered the pieces on top of the printed image on the background.

I added a Wink of Stella all over the birds.

I wish to enter this card in the following challenges:

The Joy of Sets Guest Designer Project

I am honored to be the Guest Designer for August's  The Joy of Sets Challenge!
This month's Tic Tac Toe challenge is as follows:
I chose the far left column: Splash, Yellow and Emboss.
The splash part was the most difficult for me to interpret. I finally decided to grab some acrylic paint, mix it with a little water and make a splash!
While it was air drying, I printed the turtle from my Nature of the Beach Digital Stamp Set. You can find it in my Etsy shop. The images come pre-colored or color them yourself. Pre-colored digitals are handy for quick and easy cardmaking, journaling, scrapbooking, you name it.

The turtle was fussy cut, and embossed with clear EP. The sentiment is also from the set. I used my good old CTMH cloud stencil to create the waves with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. The yellow ink on all the edges is Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
I created the background paper with my three leaves digi stamp, which is a freebie on The Artsystamper Addiction Facebook Page. Join the group to enjoy the freebies in the file there.
The final touch, after layering the design onto yellow cardstock, was Nuvo Drops in Blizzard.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Now it's your turn. Play a little Tic Tac Toe with The Joy of Sets Challenge. So much FUN!

Enjoy your creative journey,

Sweet Love with Gecko Galz

Hello everyone! It's time for another Gecko Galz Monthly Challenge. The theme this August is
Summer Love
I am using a few different Gecko Galz products for this card.
Garden Child Digital Collage Sheet image 0
Flower Power Digital ATC Collection image 0
Curiosity Shop Digital Craft Kit image 0
and finally,
Charming Words collage set image 0

I fussy cut a bit of the children image, and layered it over the scripted doily. I always love to ink the edges of the pieces with Distress Ink. I usually stick to earth tones for vintage pieces. I think I used Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide this time. I keep the Oxides in a vintage box on my desk, while the regular Distress Inks are in an old metal drawer unit across the room, so the Oxides get used more...can't keep everything on my desk! I also added a bit of alcohol marker around the edges of the images to add depth.

The final addition is an organdy ribbon bow that I "aged" with my heat tool. I just LOVE the effect it gives to the ribbon. I use Beacon Fabric glue to hole the folds of my ribbon down before I melt it.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Pegasus Card for Crafts Galore Encore Challenge DT

As the card says, Hello!
Welcome back for another inspiration piece for
This month our sponsor is Fabrika Fantasy
Image may contain: 1 person, text that says 'Proud Sponsor Fabrika FANTASY Digital Stamps'
who is offering three digitals as a prize for the random winner.
I decided to use the awesome Flying Pegasus image, which comes in color and line digital images.
I used my good ol' Coluzzel tools to cut a partial circle around the pegasus. This saves on fussy cutting the entire image, and creates a cool background. I shaded the image with Prismacolor Premier pencils in Indigo and Crimson. I also used my good ol' cloud stencil by CTMH. I have had it for decades! I used Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink and a sponge for the sky, also the edges of the circle.
The silver mat and "hello" are from my stash of Tonic stuff from when I worked for
Sparkle N Sprinkle. Boy I miss those days! If you were at any of the Expos in their final year, I probably met you!

I wish to enter this in the following challenges:

Please pop over to Crafts Galore Encore to see the DTs wonderful designs.

We'd love to see your creations.
Remember the challenge is always 'Anything Goes' and so you can create any type of project - it doesn't have to be a card and you can enter up to 3 times.

That's all for now...have FUN!

Flying Free with Alice and Gecko Galz

Hello, and thanks for stopping by!
Today I have another card for you, done with the amazing Gecko Galz products!

I had so much fun creating this tag. A couple of years ago I did a collage class, and used the letters for "fly" I had some left over, so...

The tag base is from my stash. I also stamped and distressed a sheet or two of gummed reinforcements to add to my vintage projects. Work great with Gecko Galz products for sure!
I printed out the balloon image, three birds in a variety of sizes (one of the great things you can do with digis!) and the sentiment. A bit of Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and a ribbon finished this tag in no time.

Gecko Galz products I used:

Challenge #20 Birthday with Artsy Sentiments

Hi! It's Beverly, aka Artsystamper.

I also used my Hello Beautiful Kit

You can simply print out what you need. AND you can print as many as you want!

I printed the background in Gimp, at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. I used the paper that matched the background of the sentiment. Sooo easy to create with these digitals! No wondering if they will go together, because they are created from the same paper. I love that ease. Of course, they stand on their own as well!
I was just drawn to the Hello Beautiful Kit to use with this sentiment. I printed her in blue, and fussy cut her. I wrapped a organdy ribbon around her and then attached her to the background. My favorite glue to use with ribbon is Beacon. Any of their fabric glues work great. They give you a little wiggle room time and them dry clear.

After attaching the sentiment in place, I added a couple of little hearts I created in the past. They were in my stash. I actually don't remember how I created them!

The final touch is the melting of the ribbon to age it...One of my favorite techniques. I love working with ribbon.
